About the Ozaukee County Hockey League...

This pretty much sums it up (NSFW).

The Ozaukee Hockey League has supported competitive hockey in the Ozaukee County area since 1995. Starting with a group of 28 spirited individuals, the league now suppports over 100 players, with both Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer competitive play. Through the course of a year the league will host over 80 games and a playoff tournament. OCHL attracts players from Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties and encourages beginner level players to ex collegiate and ex-semi professional hockey players.

OCHL player members enjoy competitive play and long time team friendships. Our league strives for equally balanced teams and game times that lend to healthy work and family commitments. All games are played with 2 referees and a scorekeeper at the Ozaukee Ice Center in Mequon WI.

OCHL is a recreational, non-incorporated, non-profit self supporting organization. OCHL seeks the majority of its funding through the enrollment fees from its players. Players enrollment fees pay for ice time, referees, scorekeepers, insurance, advertising, postage and adminstrative costs. The balance of funding comes from team sponsors. Funds from sponsors provide uniform replacement and an 8 game elimination tournament at the end of the Fall /Winter season.
